Varsity Head Coach: Jason Roush
Coach Roush joined the Trojans coaching staff in 2007 as an Assistant to former head coach Nate Lynch. In March of 2008, Coach Lynch turned the program over to Coach Roush. As the Head Coach of the Trojans from 2009-2012, Coach Roush has led GE to a dual record of 35-16, coached 12 League Champs, 6 Sectional Champions, 2 District Champions, 4 State Qualifiers, and 1 State Placer.
Coach Roush began his wrestling career competing for the Van Wert Cougars. During his high school wrestling career with the Cougars, Coach Roush was a 3x OHSAA State Qualifier and earned State Medals twice. Upon graduation, Coach Roush went on to the collegiate level to compete for the Lions of Mount St. Joseph. At Mount St. Joseph, Coach Roush earned All-American status his final 3 years. In 2005 and 2006 Coach Roush finished 3rd in country and in 2007 finished as the NCAA Runner-Up.
Currently Coach Roush works for Great Oaks JVS teaching Mathematics at Diamond Oaks and resides in Amelia with his wife Kimberly and son Jacob.
Assistant Coach: Nate Lynch
Coach Lynch began his wrestling coaching career at Turpin High School, where he served as head coach from 2000-2002. During this time he led the Spartans to the highest place in the District Tournament in school history. He joined the ranks at Glen Este as an assistant coach in 2003, and then served as the head coach from 2004-2008. During that time he coached two state place winners, 4 state qualifiers, and finished in the top three in the FAVC each year.
As a wrestler Coach Lynch competed for Turpin High School and was a OHSAA State Qualifier. He also competed extensively in Freestyle and Greco-Roman, and was a member of multiple traveling teams during the off-season. After high school Coach Lynch turned his grappling focus to studying jiu-jitsu and competing in Mixed Martial Arts, finishing with a record of 4-1 in MMA competition. He was also the National Runner-Up in Jiu-Jitsu.
Currently Coach Lynch works for Great Oaks JVS teaching a Teaching Professions class at Anderson HS and resides in the Eastgate area with his wife Amy and daughters Bailey and Ally.
Assistant Coach: Mike Felts
Coach Felts started his coaching career as an Assistant Coach at New Richmond High School from 1996-1998. Coach Felts then went on to coach at Turpin High School where he was an Assistant Coach from 1998-2002, coaching 3 State Qualifiers and served as Head Coach from 2003-2005.
As a wrestler, Coach Felts began his wrestling career competing for the New Richmond Lions. During his high school wrestling career with the Lions, Coach Felts was an OHSAA State Qualifier (1995), 3x District Qualifier and earned over 100 career victories.
Currently Coach Felts works at Cincinnati Arts & Technology Center teaching Digital Multi Media and 3-D and resides in New Richmond with his wife Danell and son Corbin.
